Register Below for League Play
 
4 Online Steps:
 
 
  Step 1) Please Read A through J
 
   A) Three Items are Required to Fully Register a Team:    
     
  (1) Full Payment (online below).  
  (2) Coach's Form (online below)  
  (3) Roster* (online below). *Roster changes can be made for qualifying players all the way to the championship game. *Players may only play on one team in an HBA league or level (if combined league then considered the same level); Qualifying players who have not played on any HBA team for the current HBA league or level may be added at any time to one team at that league or level.  Roster changes, throughout the season, must be approved by the HBA Director (Ron Stryzinski).
     
 
   B) Each team is required to have one unique head coach; a coach is not allowed to not run two or more teams. If the head coach is unavailable to coach any game during any time during any part of the league,  then an assistant coach must
         be available to coach in place of the head coach.
 
   C) The schedule will not allow teams to request early or late games, or similar requests. Teams, coaches, contacts are NOT allowed to request early games, late games, games scheduled close to another team, etc.
         Teams that want to request times or locations should NOT register. Teams are NOT to play in any other league that will conflict with ANY of the HBA league dates or times.
 
   D) Registering On-Time requires the following:
        1) completing the HBA online coach form; to be completed by the appropriate "On-time registration" date listed below.
        2) paying at least a $50 deposit to the HBA by the "On-time registration" date listed below.
        3) paying the appropriate HBA league fee in full by Two Weeks prior to the first scheduled league games.
 
   E) Provided the following; your team will receive at least 10* total games; otherwise, no guarantee regarding the total number of games that your team will receive.   
               1) your team registers on-time
               2) your team is available for all games and all time slots
               3) there are no unforeseen acts of nature or scheduling conflicts or other uncontrollable events
           Also, note: there will not be a season ending tournament; individual awards will be given to each league's top team (top team calculated first by record, then head to head, then points vs. common opponent (maximum of 15 points per team considered);
                             and in order to allow time to process awards; eight games will be used to determine each league's top team; fewer games may be used if weather or other uncontrollable events affect the schedule. Also, a team that asks not to be scheduled
                             for any date or misses scheduled games may affect their league standing for awards.
         *Weather can reduce number of games played.
           Sometimes changes may have to be made to the schedule so please assign someone to view a refreshed version of the online schedule; every attempt will be made to allow at least one week
            before the scheduled date for any schedule updates; some updates are out of the control of the scheduler; every attempt will be made to keep the schedule constant.
 
           
           GAME-DAY GAME CANCELLATIONS DUE TO WEATHER WILL BE POSTED ON THE HBA HOME WEB PAGE BY THREE HOURS PRIOR TO THE FIRST GAMES;

2017-2018 WINTER LEAGUES: 2nd DI/3rd DII;  3rd DI/4th DII;  4th DI/5th DII;  5th DI / 6th DII   On - Time Registration due by September 20, 2017: After Sept 20 Registration Remains OPEN, but late.

 

2018 LATE WINTER LEAGUES: 2nd DI/3rd DII;  3rd DI/4th DII;  4th DI/5th DII;  5th DI / 6th DII;  6th DI/7th DII;  7TH DI/8th DII:  On - Time Registration due by December 1, 2017: After Dec 1 Registration Remains OPEN, but late.

 
 

ALL REGISTRATION REMAINS OPEN PRIOR to the START OF EACH LEAGUE; (just late if not registered by the dates indicated above)

 
 
       F) League or Division played in is determined by the following*: primarily 1A & 2A school class size "A" teams and 3A & 4A school class size "B" teams play in leagues one grade level LOWER than 3A
             & 4A school class size "A" teams.
                   *League or Division that a team plays in is at the discretion of the HBA; in order to alleviate scheduling conflicts, some games for 1A & 2A school class size "A" teams and 3A & 4A  
                     school class size "B" teams may be played at grade level; also, if a team chooses to play "up" one grade level, then that team will play the season ending tournament "up" one level.
 
       G) Do NOT Pay the HBA league fee at the First Game and NOT to any host site; Host Sites Will Not Accept HBA League Payment; HBA League Payment  Must Be Paid Online or Mailed    
             to the HBA office. Make check payable to HBA; (click here for HBA office mail address).
 
       H) League Fee $350 per team (includes secondary insurance). Full payment much reach the HBA Office by two weeks before the start of the league.
 
       I) Money Is Not Refundable Provided The League Runs & Your Team Decides Not To Play
 
       J) Coaches or Registrant; inform your players and guardians of players that there is an assumption of risk of injury on the part of the participant and/or the participant's guardians regarding
            the participant playing the sport of basketball.            
 
 
  Step 2) Online Payment (Below)   IMPORTANT! We NEED to associate payment with your team's head coach; please email us at playhba@gmail.com if person paying online is different than head coach.
 
 
  Step 3) Coach Form
 
 
  Step 4) Roster Teams MUST have a minimum  of 8 players, a maximum of 12 players, and a maximum of two coaches. **Roster changes can be made for qualifying players all the way to the championship game; just open a new roster and add one player or more at a time anytime.
